Jose is a professional with 14 years of experience in the IT Industry, 10 of them working with Microsoft Technologies. He has gained international experience working for multinational companies and living in The Netherlands and Italy. He has know-how in “mission-critical” solutions for the Payment industry and has worked in projects for other sectors like quality assurance in production plants and public sector. Jose has spent the last 7 years managing technical teams, including distributed and off-shore teams, and has experience in the implantation and use of Agile Methodologies in development projects. Prior to join Microsoft he has been an active member of the technical community volunteering in associations like INETA, Culminis and Microsoft UGSS. He was the founder and coordinator of a .NET developer association in Spain. Currently he is working as DPE Manager at Microsoft, where he works to ensure that students, startups, developers, IT Pros, and ISVs know and choose Microsoft platforms. The role combines marketing, business development and technology evangelism.
