I began to work as system administrator, security administrator and ISP administrator at the beginning of my career in a little ISP in Spain. In those days i worked for Sun Microsystems in Educational Services and Professional Services Departments in Spain and collaborated with Sun PS in Portugal. I lived in Lisbon in 2002, where I worked for a Portuguese company called Symlabs LDA. I learnt languages (english and portuguese), intercultural relationships, and perl. I was involved in the budget for a new spanish office, and worked as technician and ldap consultant. Some time after, I joined to a Spanish company called Davinci Consulting Tecnológico as Senior Security Consultant dealing with support services for some of the top ten spanish companies in several business areas like Bank, telecomm and industry. In 2003, I came back to my first company with a higher profile (IT manager). My role there was dealing with employees, timesheets and financials. Regularly, I kept working as technician in some projects where I could learn or gain more experience. Along 2005 I have been working as proactive support consultant for the Added Value Services engineering department of Amena. In 2006 I've been working for Sun in Sun Portal and Sun Access Manager deployments and customizations as field engineer. But life takes its toll so I feel exhausted and left the company at the end of 2006 and began a short vacational period of three months to rest and think about life. After that vacations, I decided to work again in security for a company called Zitralia Seguridad Informatica that had developed a great product that provides confidentiality and hardening to Linux Systems. After a short period of time, I felt I was in need of more Unix, and joined Core Networks as Sun Java System engineer and instructor. Since then, I have been balancing projects and training. Recently, in 2009, Oracle adquired Sun and new horizons have been opened for a curious mind.
