Tuesday 14 May 2019, 19:00 - 20:00

Av. Fuente de la Mora, 1, Madrid, España

En la Build de este año hay al menos 3 sesiones de Xamarin. La idea de este encuentro es hablar sobre las novedades que serán presentadas en la Build que este relacionado con la movilidad y Visual Studio. Las 3 sesiones sobre Xamarin son: 1) The Next Transformation in Mobile Development with Xamarin Xamarin enables C# developers to become native iOS, Android, tvOS, watchOS and macOS app developers overnight. In this session, learn how to leverage your existing .NET and C# skills to create apps for these platforms in Visual Studio with Xamarin. In addition to allowing you to write your iOS and Android apps in C#, Xamarin and Xamarin.Forms allow you reuse existing business logic in .NET libraries as well as your XAML UI across iOS, Android, and .NET apps. During this code-heavy session, we show you how to create native cross-platform applications for iOS, Android, and Windows with Xamarin and C# and we peak at what’s new and next for Xamarin developer inside of Visual Studio. 2) Building mobile and web applications using .NET, macOS and Visual Studio for Mac Visual Studio for Mac is the Microsoft IDE for .NET developers working on macOS and in this talk we’ll show you how to build a web application using C# and ASP.NET Core. We’ll also build a mobile companion app using Xamarin with Xamarin.Forms and XAML. Using Visual Studio 2019 for Mac, you’ll see how you can be even more productive with the latest release of the IDE, including getting the most out of the brand new C# and XAML editing experiences built on the same core editors as Visual Studio on Windows. 3) Building the award winning app, SeeingAI, with Visual Studio 2019 Come see how Visual Studio 2019 delivers unprecedented developer productivity through the lens of building the award-winning SeeingAI app. SeeingAI uses C#, ASP.NET Core, Python, Xamarin, and Azure Cognitive Services to build an app which enables the low vision community to harness the power of AI to describe people, text, and objects to navigate the world around them. The team codes on both PC and Mac (with Visual Studio for Mac) and uses Azure DevOps and Application Insights for a tight feedback loop. We will share how we deliver an amazing experience using the latest and greatest tools and developer platforms from Microsoft.
