The London Python Group - TLPG - Python's Innards

Thursday 22 May 2014, 19:30 - 20:30

116-120 Goswell Road, London, Reino Unido

Dear pythonistas, Ready to take a look at some of the key components of the Python virtual machine? For this meetup Yaniv Aknin will kindly present a few of CPython's main components, focusing on the object model. The talk is based on the `Python's Innards series of blog posts. Reading CPython's sourcecode is surprisingly easy and helps subsequent development, debugging and optimization of Python code. In this talk, we'll briefly examine some key components of the Python virtual machine and object model. Yaniv is a hacker with an aversion to the whole Web 2.0 shtick. His technical interests include UNIX, Python, TCP/IP and system architecture. Yaniv has broad experience in software development, systems engineering, professional services & product management, and currently works on Google's frontend serving infrastructure as a Site Reliability Engineer. As per usual please register for the event at: https://skillsmatter.com/meetups/6390-python-s-innards
