Startup The Fusion is a two-day event created by a startup, for the startups, which aims to bring together the right mix of thinkers, doers and facilitators. Startup The Fusion is created in very close collaboration with the wunderkinds of Slush – the most important startup event in the Nordics.

Nordics will be the dominating theme throughout the event, which means nothing will be average or just “good enough”. Everything is designed to make sense and to be practical, in order to serve the startups and the ecosystem, as a whole. That’s because the entrepreneurs are our heroes. They are our football stars, and they deserve the attention and admiration of the society.

Besides the two highly anticipated open air after-parties, launch of new service by Twitter and regional startups, one of the main features of STF will be the on-stage presentations of 40 European startups, in 4 different growth stages (pre-launch, early, mid and late stage), presenting in the following categories:

Business
Entertainment
Fashion
Gaming
Hardware
Mobile
Shared Economy
Transport/Automotive
UnCat

However, there will be no competition, nor any cash prizes and neither will there be a press conference. Instead the most impressive startups will get invited to attend private meetings with investors, potential partners and corporations who are there for matchmaking purposes.
