At this month's Leadership Matters, we are excited to be joined by international speaker, and a core member of the BDD community here in London, Liz Keogh!------------------------- PROGRAMME 18:30-19:00 Sign-in and get settled 19:00-19:45 liz's presentation 19:45-20:00 Q&A------------------------ Decision Making for Grown-Ups In this talk Liz introduces three ways of looking at the world that help us choose the right approach: Cynefin, a framework for making sense of situations depending on certainty or uncertainty; Wardley Mapping, which lets us understand our organizational and technical structure as it evolves; and Real Options, the principles of which help us to postpone decisions until we have more information. Find out how these lenses and their associated tools are helping modern leaders to navigate their changing landscapes and ecosystems with clearer insight, less frustration, less risk and faster delivery. -------------------------- About the Speaker Liz Keogh Liz Keogh is a Lean and Agile consultant based in London. She is a well-known blogger and international speaker, a core member of the BDD community and a contributor to a number of open-source projects including JBehave. She specializes in helping people use examples and stories to communicate, build, test and deliver value, particularly when faced with high risk and uncertainty. Liz's work covers topics as diverse as story-writing, haiku poetry, Cynefin and complexity thinking, effective personal feedback and OO development, and she has a particular love of people, language, and choices. She has a strong technical background with over 20 years’ experience in delivering value and coaching others to deliver, from small start-ups to global enterprises.
