Skills Matter - X Matters Keynote Series - Developer Events - Cloud Matters with Justin Davies!
Wednesday 20 March 2019, 19:30 - 20:30
10 South Place, EC2M 7EB, London, Reino Unido
At this month's Cloud Matters, we're excited to be joined by Microsoft's Justin Davies! He'll be telling us more about the issues faced by Enterprise customers in order to be successful with not just Cloud Native, but the adoption of Cloud as a whole. Check it out! ----------------------------------Do Enterprise dream of Cloud Native? Cloud Native, Containers, Kubernetes provide such a huge opportunity to be able to deliver faster, reduce blockers and increase deployment velocity to deliver value to customers. The problem usually arises when you have to work through the existing Enterprise processes, tools and to culture to adopt this level of autonomy and automation that’s required. What issues do Enterprise customers need to address to be successful with not just being Cloud Native, but adopting Cloud? Starting a new project that is Cloud Native is a lot easier than migrating or refactoring applications onto a new platform. How does security, auditability and culture work in this new world. And once you’ve got your head around Kubernetes, what else is needed to make those new platforms successful? -----------------------------------------------About the Speaker: Justin Davies Justin is the Technology Lead for Open Source at Microsoft in the UK. He’s been working with Open Source for 18 years, and with companies from Startups, Media and Financial Services to Public Sector to implement OSS and championing its adoption to drive innovation and agility. ------------------------------------FREE TICKETS Attendance is free for registered delegates, and you can register here: https://skillsmatter.com/meetups/11387-ops-matters-march WHAT, WHEN, WHERE WHAT: Ops Matters with Justin Davies: Do Enterprise dream of Cloud Native?
