Oracle is running a free online course to help developers learn Java 8 Lambdas and Streams. Because it's more fun to work on these things in a group, we're going to run meetups to get together and: 1) ask/answer questions about the material 2) help each other with the homework In order to get the most from these sessions, it will be best to watch the lessons in your own time, and come ready to discuss them or ask questions about them in the session. There will not be enough time to go into all of the content in detail. The course is three weeks long, so we will run three of these sessions to look at each week's homework. Sign up for the course If you complete the course, you'll get a course completion award. For this, you will have to sign up to the course via the link above and submit answers to each week's quiz before the deadline. Bring your laptop!!
