It is though a very important topic as management can make or break a tech project. It is aslo an interesting and worthwhile career path for people to follow; learning to mentor and guide younger developers along with learning about the business, finance and legal side of tech projects. Transitioning from developer to manager can be difficult though, in my talk I will offer advice for aspiring managers and developers generally on why they should become managers, what to expect and how to become better at it. Speaker: Rob Waller Rob is the Head of Technology at Breakthrough Media, a communications agency based in London, where he runs a team of ten, including developers, project managers and QA. He has been writing PHP for nearly a decade and in 2012 released the Fakers App which is Twitter's largest anti-bot app. Sponsors LendInvest (https://www.lendinvest.com) - LendInvest provide finance to property professionals, and provide a platform for individuals and institutions to invest in property backed loans.
