Migrating to a Cloud Native architecture? Breaking your monolith into Microservices? Do you hear “Devops” quite a lot but you would like to know more about what’s behind just the job title? Adopting Kubernetes in your company? In this talk we would like to share with you about our Journey on this adventures (and much more!!). We would like to tackle how Nexthink approached the migration of our product towards a cloud native architecture based on Microservices and Kubernetes paying special attention to the role played by the DevOps methodologies and tools that we implemented. We will go through our current stack and where we aimed to be, our initial state in terms of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, to then move into the benefits we experienced by enhancing our DevOps capabilities, to wrap up with some key learnings and the road ahead of us. And we would also love to hear about your experiences and be able to share and learn from each other experiences. The talk will be facilitated by Oriol Lluch Telecomunications Engineer with an Executive Master of Business Administration (E.M.B.A.) in Management of Technology-based Enterprise He has worked as Devops Engineer in SpotMe, Technology Strategist in Cisco and he is now working in Nexthink as Product Delivery Lead in Switzerland. Our event will be hosted in English this time. We have the pleasure of having our Meetup event in Google Campus on the Meetup Room (Calle Nieto Moreno 2). We will have the Networking time and Catering from 20.30 to 21.30
