Static is the new dynamic. There are considerable benefits to statically generated sites when compared to dynamic sites. This talk will show you can forget Ruby, Python or Go and use the JVM: it is the perfect platform to use when it comes to generating a static site or blog. In this talk you'll find out more about the benefits of static sites, what features JBake provides and how it can be used to produce a static site. Speaker Bio: Jonathan Bullock is a Senior Web Developer and creator of JBake. He has a passion for the internet, gadgets and is a fan of far too many sports.
