Get your free ticket here Ed Freyfogle will talk to us about the OpenCage Geocoder an API for forward and reverse geocoding built on top of OpenStreetMap and other open geodata sources. The service provides a single, simple API to make life easy for developers e.g. by enriching your huge spatial data set into specific locations.  The talk will also explain what the OpenStreetMap project - with 3 million registered users and well over a million edits a day - is and how it has evolved. About the speaker: Ed started his career as a software developer for yahoo.de in Munich. Besides growing OpenCage he invests in and advises European location-based service start-ups." Previously he spent 10 years in the London start-up scene, where he co-founded and later successfully exited a real estate meta-search engine.  He now lives in Barcelona with his wife and two children.  AGENDA:19:00 Welcome19:10 For the beginners: What is an API?19:30 About OpenCage Geocoder20:00 Live use case of the service20:30 QA & Network
