Barcelona.JS is a usergroup focused on JavaScript and related topics. We meet regularly on the last Wednesday each month at 7.45pm at MOB, C/ Bailen 11 in Barcelona.
* node-fs Bruno Pedro (@bpedro) A short talk about node-fs. node-fs is an extension to the original nodejs fs library, offering new functionalities.
* Twitter, Couchbase and amCharts Pablo Casado (@hardlifeofapo) How to start with node.js. An example for teaching purposes at UPC showing off basic node.js fundamentals with streaming twitter messages to Couchbase and visualise the data via socket.io in amCharts.
* Building HTML5 mobile apps using Sencha Touch Steffen Hiller (@steffenhiller) A walk-through of the process of building a mobile app using Sencha Touch (with live coding). From creating and deploying using Sencha CMD, through architecting using Sencha Touch's class system, loader and layout system, to styling using Sencha Touch's compass and Sass theme. Wrapped into why and when you should use this framework, as well as what the future may look like.
