Barcelona Python Meetup - PyDay BCN 2016: XXL Meetup

PyDay 2016, an event proposed by Python España, will take place in different Spanish cities from 12th to 18th September and is aimed to expand local Python communities. Because of that PyBCN, the Python user group in Barcelona, is organizing this special meetup and other activities. You can get more information here: http://pybcn.org/pyday-bcn-2016/about-pyday-bcn-2016/ XXL Meetup Talks: • Learning Representations with Deep Learning in Tensorflow by Oriol Pujol Vila There is a lot of fuss about "deep learning", being regarded as the "new savior" for machine learning. In this talk we will have a critical hands-on look at this subject using tensorflow module and we will particularize in learning representations strategies by means of denoising autoencoders. • Road Towards Web for Everyone - A11y in a Django Project by Radina Matic (@RadinaMatic) Story about how even a small development team, working as a non-profit organization, and producing a free and open source educational software solution, managed to integrate accessibility into their development process. • Citybikes: a tale of python and bike sharing by Lluís Esquerda (from @ctbikes) An interesting talk about Citybikes, a global site about bike sharing networks in many cities around the globe. Venue: The event will take place at room Aula B5, at ground floor of Edifici Històric of Facultat de Matemàtiques i Informàtica of Universitat de Barcelona.
