Barcelona Python Meetup - Pandas Documentation Sprint
Saturday 10 March 2018, 10:00 - 11:00
Carrer de Balmes 89, 6º 4ª, Barcelona, España
> What? We'll be joining a worldwide event to improve Pandas documentation: https://python-sprints.github.io/pandas/ Pandas is an open source Python library for data manipulation and analysis. Its popularity is skyrocketing, and it is becoming the de-facto standard for data science and data engineering. But the number of core developers and contributors did not grow as fast as its popularity, and things like the API documentation would benefit from some help. We plan to help leave the API documentation for the Series and DataFrame classes in a perfect state. > Who? To join the sprint, you should have some previous knowledge of Pandas, and bring your own laptop. That's it! The organizers will provide help and coaching with Pandas, doing Pull Requests, setting up the environment, or whatever you need. We will provide snacks and drinks during the event, including vegan stuff. If you have some food intolerance please let us know in advance so we can prepare. > How? Just join the waitlist for this event! Please, make sure you answer the question when joining. We need to keep a good balance in terms of experience and diversity, and we'll select attendees manually. We have room for about 25 people.
