In the Agile Manifesto Principles we can read: "At regular intervals, the team reflects on how to become more effective, then tunes and adjusts its behaviour accordingly.". Many agilists translate this statement directly into "Retrospectives". Sometimes, in some teams or at some moments, retrospectives don't work and the only solution that's sought is "to improve retrospectives". How much dogma is there in agile methodologies? What cannot be challenged? In this session, Toni Tassani will invite us to question everything. We will see the risks in retrospectives, antipatterns and we will explore other options to achieve continuous improvement, beyond retrospectives. Learning Objectives The main objective of the session is to allow ourselves a critical look to agilism, to think out of the box.We will discuss the perception of the role of the facilitator as a super-hero.We will show alternatives/extensions for continuous improvement such as the Improvement Board, Popcorn Flow, Improvement Kata or Service Delivery Review, studying when they can be interesting
