UI/UX Front-End Developer

We are looking for a passionate front-end developer with interest in the UX world. We need someone who knows what a design pattern is. Able to define web apps mockups with good UX and UI and implement them (You are not alone, our engineers will help you to accomplish all your task). ISID S.L. (isid.es) is a leading software company, specialized in the development of content management systems. Products include Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Media Broadcast Monitoring software.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible of the new interfaces for our web applications UI/UX (we will like to see previous works)
• Passionate for iterative development, elegant code and compelling user interfaces
• Able to create a new creative culture and Design Thinking environment
• Build reusable front-end code and libraries for future use Optimize front-end for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Requirements

• Portfolio of UI and digital work Proficient understanding of UI design patterns
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Good understanding of vanilla JavaScript language, including es6 features
• Good understanding of Vue framework is a must
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX

Good to have

• Basic understanding of PHP server side scripting (Laravel is a plus)
• Able to create wireframes and design mocks
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
• Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
• Basic understanding of mobile hybrid technologies.
• Experience with Cordova, ReactNative or Nativescript is a plus.
• Experience in data visualization and analytics a plus
• Basic understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git Fluency in English is a plus
