Back end developer

As a Software Developer your mission is to  produce, maintain and contribute actively to the design of our solutions in accordance with technological services proposed to our customers and following Development Team’s guidelines. You will need strong technical knowledge to carry out theoretical studies, write specifications, code & technical documents, contribute to the tests, integrate solutions to our IT infrastructure, deal with the required evolutions and share your knowledge with the other developers of the Alizent Group.

Your main activities : 

• Participate to quotation and task planning.

• Develop software according with pattern and detailed specifications fulfilling the budget

• Follow/challenge specifications and architecture

• Code the first level of test : unitary test,  write functional test and execute integration test if needed

• Do code reviews, document its code

• Write pieces of technical design (write a storyboard, a maquette and a release note)

• Identify useful library and stay up to date on libraries, state of the art coding patterns

• Provide level 4 (3 in Spain)  support in case of major incident, analyse bugs and propose and implement a solution to fix them

• Participate to the solution Deployment

• Propose Development process improvement and improve continuously the software for performance by refactoring the code if needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecoms or Engineering;

• Or equivalent years of experience.

Required skills:

• Experience with C# developments

• Experience in the interaction with medium/large database (SQL Server or Oracle).

• Strong Knowledge in OOPS Concepts

• Experience in the development of Web services (REST Services)

• Experience working with databases (Transact SQL, PL/SQL) and access to such repositories by using MS Entity Framework.

• Experience working with TDD methodology

• Knowledge of agile development methodologies.

• Experience in the usage of VSTS, TFS or AzureDevops will be a plus

• Experience in the usage of GIT and SVN will be a plus

• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• Optional valuable skills:

• Front-End developments by using Angular or Angular.js.

• Experience in developments by using AWS.
