viernes 17 mayo 2019, 18:00 - 19:00

Ronda de Sant Pere, 52, 5a Planta, Barcelona, España

Our policy:
Our workshops are targeted at women in particular, since our main goal and purpose is to help increase female representation in the IT world. Regardless, that doesn't mean that we don't accept male attendees as well, as long as they abide by a simple rule: if they want to come, they must be accompanied by a woman
Since we need to provide an assistants list to our host, you need to sign up with a real name, not an alias or nickname. For the same reason, you'll need to provide your guests name(s) if you are going to bring someone.
Hello there Adas!
The user! That elusive and mysterious creature.
Who is she and why should we care?
She is the one renting a car in our app, buying a flight, opening an account,... still, she is the big unknown and the last one to have a say on the product. In this talk we will learn more about her, or at least we will learn about how we learn about her.
To be clear, User Experience should not happen in a silo (even if it often does). Understanding users, exploring how their needs match business needs, and improving the product, is a team activity. In the end, the needs of the user impact all levels of an organisation, so consider this meet up an open venue for all profiles who want to know more about their users and how collaboration is key to finding the right solution.
