Hi guys!We are pleased to announce the fifth GibDevs meetup, which will take place again at The Ivy Pub in Ocean Village on Thursday April 25th at 6pm. The first talk - Introduction to Typesafe Reactive architecture for highly scalable microservices is brought to us by Shelley Gill. She is a backend developer at Playtech, interested in high availability, consistency, low latency and scalability. In her projects she works using Typesafe Reactive architecture which includes Scala, Akka and Kafka. In this talk, Shelley will walks us through advantages, some of the common mistakes and answer all the questions you might have! Second talk Data modelling - Kimball Methodology is brought to us by Juan Palomares. He will explain us how to efficiently model the data for easy access and reporting. Juan is Data Manager at Kindred making data available to the public in an easy and reliable manner.
