We are looking for a Senior Systems & Security Engineer specializing in Microsoft Windows Server environment in Barcelona.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining company`s internal systems (Microsoft & Linux)
- Maintain company’s CDN and cloud services.
- System security & Security polices.
- Monitor & Optimization of SQL Server DBA performance.
- Creating and maintaining performance monitoring policies on servers and systems in remote areas.
- Report system KPIs to department director.
- Manage security audits & reporting requested by clients.
- Verifying critical services` functionality (Internet access, mail, CVS- Concurrent Versions System, VPN- Virtual Private Network, Samba Workgroup, DNS-Domain Name System, DHCP- Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, wired and wireless LAN, etc.) of the company.
- Company policies and SLAs for all corporate environments.
- Troubleshooting (Software and Hardware server environment)
Required Experience [3-5 years] in:
- Microsoft SQL Server DBA at Systems, performance and development.
- Monitoring tools, monitoring and control of SysAdmin.
- IIS
- Windows Systems Management Server.
- Web security tools, IPS / IDS.
Skills and Abilities
- Advanced & Fluent English is required

Additional:
- We are looking for a very proactive person. We need prevention more than reaction.
- The system administrator has to know how to handle problems and find solutions. He/she should be a team player and should be also able to resolve his colleagues` issues regarding the system admin, if the colleague has any problem.
