SocialBro is seeking engineers to help build and grow our next generation storage infrastructure. Work with technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL and Redis.

SocialBro’s infrastructure stores hundreds of millions of users data which must be queried by innumerable combinations of search and filter criteria. Our users expect a fast response.

[Responsibilities]
- Diagnose, and troubleshoot complex storage problems.
- Automate and develop advanced tooling for our storage infrastructure that spans multiple datacenters.
- Operational ownership of the production storage stack.
- Develop and manage statistical analysis tools related to storage hardware: performance, health and utilization.
- Code using primarily Node.js and PHP.
- Run application vulnerability assessments and security reviews

[Requirements]
- Passionate about large scale infrastructure and technologies.
- Experience administering distributed systems in a production environment.
- Experience benchmarking and evaluating hardware and software.
- Experience building large-scale server applications, distributed systems, threading models, and server architectures.
- Experience with AWS
- Incredible coding skills. Obsessive about efficient and scalable code.
- Intolerant of sub-optimal design.
- Restless. Creative. Imagine new products and innovative solutions.
- Good understanding of computer system performance analysis and optimization.
- Experience of building scalable and fault tolerant distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of web infrastructure, web protocols, databases.
- Expertise in Node.js, MongoDB, MySQL and Redis.
- 5+ years experience of real world software engineering.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize projects, and communicate progress and expected milestones

- Active Twitter user
- Adequate communication skills in English
- Good ping-pong player
